Teradyne High Performance Circuits Manufacturing Facility Achieves ISO 14001 Certifications

International Environmental Management System Standard Awarded to Nashua, New Hampshire Facility

Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE: TER), Connection Systems Division (TCS), the industry leader in high-performance printed circuit boards, high-density connectors and integrated backplane systems, today announced that its Nashua, New Hampshire printed circuit board manufacturing facility has been recently certified to the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard.

The National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI), an independent certifying agency, conducted an audit of Teradyne Connection Systems' environmental management systems at its Nashua plant and issued the ISO 14001 certification on December 22, 2003. The Division's other Nashua facilities, as well as those in Ireland and Mexico have previously been certified to the ISO 14001 standard. Teradyne's High Performance Circuits operation facility also maintains certifications for ISO 9001:2000, ITAR, Mil-PRF-310321A, 2, and Mil-P-55110.
