The below privacy policy covers the Amphenol TCS external website and the Amphenol TCS DesignLink Portal accessed via registration and log in through the external website (“Website”).
Information Collected. During use of this Website, Amphenol TCS may make use of cookies (small files containing strings of characters used to identify you, and to identify or customize your use of the Website), web logging (information recorded by our servers as you use the Website that identify you if you are logged in and your usage of the Website whether you are logged in or not), link tracking (information about which links you have clicked whether internal, advertisements, or to external sites), and other technologies that track or record use of Website. When you are using the DesignLink Portal, Amphenol TCS does not track or use the information you input into or the output from any software that helps you with the design of your products, what we refer to as the "Tools."
Specific to Registered Access / DesignLink Portal. When you apply to have access to the DesignLink Portal, Amphenol TCS asks for certain personal identifying information about you and the entity (if any) that employs, or contracts, or otherwise hires you to aid it by using the DesignLink Portal ("Registration Form").
By filling out the Registration Form, you agree (on behalf of yourself and the entity that employs, or contracts, or otherwise hires you) to permit Amphenol TCS (subject to the terms of this Policy) to collect and make use of the information as described in this Policy, as it then exists. Given the nature of Amphenol TCS's services, if you choose not to supply the information that is noted as mandatory in the Registration Form, or desire not to permit the collection and use of the information as described herein, you must decline to fill out the Registration Form or cancel your password (or other method that permits your access to the DesignLink Portal), but then you may be denied access to all or part of the DesignLink Portal.
Use of the Information Collected. Amphenol TCS may use the information it collects to audit, research, analyze, develop, operate, and improve its services, the design of its Website, for marketing or other internal purposes, and to customize the information displayed or sent to you, disclose such information to its affiliates for the same types of uses, as well as disclose the information to third party advertisers or potential advertisers.
