Drill file with tool codes and X-Y coordinates of all holes
A drill report that includes the following information for each hole size: Finished hole size and tolerance, a range (.135" -.142") or a tolerance (.139 +/-.003) must be specified.
Quantities for each hole size
Hole status (plated or non-plated), ( Via, Press Fit )
Preferred Drill file format:
ODB++
Excellon Format 2
Acceptable formats:
RS274D / Trudril
The order of holes in the drill shop report matches the order in the drill program Drill data aligns with image data ( Ensure common output format as Gerber ( 2.3 / 2.4 )
Plated and unplated holes separated into two files
Fabrication Drawing Information
Profile information is used to generate a numerically controlled rout program to finish boards to their final dimensions. The drawing must clearly and fully describe the part profile using standard dimensioning and tolerancing practices.
Board outline dimensions, including cutouts, chamfers, radii, bevels, scoring, etc.
Fiducial locations, slots, tabs for break away rails.
Dimension from at least one drilled reference hole internal to the part
Hole chart with symbols on the drawing and the finished hole sizes, tolerances and Quantity
Material requirements
Layer stack up
Finished board thickness, tolerance, and surface finish specification
Controlled Impedance requirements (if applicable)
Dimensioned array drawing if the part is to be supplied in multiple up array
Notes defining product specifications to be used in fabrication
Notes defining any special requirements such as NFPR, thieving. Soldermask, Via cap and/or Via Fill instructions
